The truth about the infinite is that it isn't true Nothing can last forever, nothing gets renewed Time is but an illusion, one we all seem to share But infinite is so measly, it's hardly even there

Just afraid of time, ticking away. That our voices and promises will one day be forgotten. How does the thought of becoming nothing not haunt you like a shadow in the way it’s a part of mine? For even my shadow is afraid of not being cast any longer. And I know it’s not right to worry, because no one can save me from this. But with each second that passes, it’s one less I’ll have remaining. One second closer to losing my shadow.

Holding it in can kill you. Kicking and screaming won't help either. Think about it. Find a solution. Push forward. Keep moving. It's gone. Once again it rises. Don't try to rationalize it. Its irrational. Where's the solution? If I move forward will I find it? Maybe I should stop. It's gone. Pushed to the brink. But the brink won't end. Falling excessively. No solution down here. Here, there is no forward. One direction only, downwards. It's here.

I walked towards the darkness, to see a figure standing before me. As I moved forward along the path to see her face, I saw myself staring back.
